Water Well Programs

Numerous rural areas struggle for the basic drinking water that is a life necessity. In many cases, residents must travel long distances to secure the water that they must have. Once the water is secured, it must be carefully preserved until more can be acquired.

We have assisted with this crisis by providing water wells (bore wells) in those areas where water is scarce. Improved quality of life is imminent, with citizens having immediate and ongoing access to a necessary element. IREC has also constructed water wells in those schools where children would otherwise have no water available.

Again, we firmly believe that education is a critical component in making these types of resources available to Indian citizens. Once widespread academic and vocational training programs are established and promoted, citizens will have the ability to take active roles in creating life-saving solutions.
